FLOWERS!
Yes, more floral collage pieces... except the month of May will focus on tropical Hawaiian beauties. Those of you paying attention will note that I devoted April to primarily "mainland" flowers (roses, irises, tulips, and lilies). This was a bit of a challenge for me as I didn't grow up with these blooms in Hawaii.
However, flowers like the beautiful anthurium were a common sight in the islands. The anthurium is tall, elegant, and strange... I especially love its heart shape and unusual colors. For this week's piece, I created a white background to show off the silhouette of this stunning bouquet.
