About the Artwork:
* Your painting is an original work of art, hand painted and signed by the artist.
* Each painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity verifying it is an original work of art by the artist
* Paintings are photographed as they are drying and are signed last. Therefore, you won't see the signature in the posted photo. Due to the fact each piece is small (6" x 6") I initial the front of the painting and fully sign, date, and title the piece on the back.
* I am able to do a new piece every week by keeping the canvas size small, each one measuring 6" x 6". Canvas depth varies between 3/8" - 1.5", as I occasionally experiment with different canvas types.
* Unless otherwise specified, all paintings are oil on gallery wrapped canvas.
* The piece is ready to hang as-is (sides are painted as well), or you can custom frame to your liking.
* Oil paints vary in drying time, but typically you can expect your piece 1-2 weeks from the end of auction, after payment is received. Collage pieces take less time to dry, and are shipped more quickly. Artwork is sent Priority Mail via USPS.
* Your painting is valuable, and for that reason insurance is added during shipping calculations. Painting is insured for full purchase amount.
* All artwork is copyright of the artist Renee Coates, 2009. Artist may use the image in future re-prints (i.e. gift cards, giclee prints, posters, etc.). Please contact artist for permission to use the original artwork in any other re-print media.
